Caledonia Hilltreks Home Page
Web Site
This web site is
an account of my mountain walks since 2003 when Caledonia Hilltreks was
initially created and launched on the World Wide Web.
I have climbed the
Munros on four occasions,
the Munro Tops once, the
Corbetts twice and the
Grahams once. On my travels I have also managed to climb some of the
New Donalds and
Sub Donalds. To
achieve this I have walked over 14,300 miles and climbed over 1,400
kilometres, which has taken me over 9,100 hours.
This diary
of my mountain walks includes photographs
taken on these trips, although only from 2005 when I acquired a digital
camera. The trip reports and photographs can be found in the appropriate
sections (see left margin). The past year's hill walks can be
located under Recent Walks and my
photographs in the Photo Gallery page together
with those captured while on trips abroad.
If you are
searching for a particular mountain try my Mountain Index
which lists all the mountains I have climbed since creating this
web site, or you can use the Google
Search facility at the bottom of the page.
I have
recently started climbing Scotland's Sub 2000 feet hills, also
known as Marilyns, and have created
this blog for those trip reports.
You are welcome to follow my routes
but you do so at your own risk.
If for any reason you wish to use my
photographs please contact me (see link below) for permission beforehand.
I would also be interested in your observations.
Enjoy your walking.
